UNESCO has long endorsed our project and has agreed to distribute the approved products to its 7500 educational facilities throughout the world. UNESCO has been given the task by the United Nations of coordinating efforts to implement the U.N  Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. They believe that the Earth Charter CD/educational kit is an important way to deliver the message to children. UNESCO will distribute the international CD and educational kit through its networks of offices, associated clubs, schools (7500 schools in 143 countries), and partners worldwide. (www.unesco.org)

The International Secretariat of the Earth Charter

An official Partnership has been signed with the International Secretariat of the Earth Charter, an enthusiastic supporter of the project, which is informing its global network in advance of the CD, and will promote the CD with is contacts in more than 60 countries.  The CD will be presented as an educational tool for the teaching of sustainable development with the Earth Charter.  The national contacts will be encouraged to approach their respective governments to permit a vast distribution.
