We welcome and invite you to review our various web pages for information about our French non-profit association and its local and international projects, past present and future. Should you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact us on our Contact pages. We have lots of exciting news which you can read about in our up-to-date web page. We are pleased with the reaction to our International Earth Charter/UNESCO CD, to be digitally distributed to over 7500 UNESCO educational facilities in over 170 countries along with a companion school kit. Reactions from professionals have been overwhelmingly positive, as typified by Rubén Abraham, Strategic Marketing Manager for Warner Music México: "Great compilations".

Our Pour la Terre/Earth Charter CD/DVD project, fully presented in our Earth Charter CD/DVD web page, has the official sponsorship, including logo, of UNESCO (as does the Earth Charter Initiative) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-France). Our project has been recognized as contributing to the objectives and priorities set out by the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014), for which UNESCO has been designated lead agency. UNESCO previously made the Earth Charter a major ethical framework of the Sustainable Development program by an official resolution approving its contents.

The concept is for the production of a CD, geared toward children aged 5 to 13, for each country or region with common language containing Earth Charter related songs performed by major local and independent artists, accompanied by a specially prepared school kit, recently approved by UNESCO.

Our Earth Charter/UNESCO CD and school kit was produced in 2005 for distribution in the framework of the launching year of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development, and contains major and independent artists from throughout the world. Two CDs contain 21songs. The product is to be freely distributed to UNESCO instructors, or available to UNESCO instructors by a secured FTP internet site, in educational facilities throughout the world by UNESCO. We are currently in arranging production of our French and other regional CDs. We are excited by the enthusiastic and dedicated participation of major internationally respected artists such as Grateful Dead, Huey Lewis, Kitaro, Maná, Youssou N'Dour, Chico and the Gypsies,  Naveen Kumar, Zehava Ben,Tokiko Kato, Yannick Noah, Meiway, Mickey3D, Dolphin,Clear Blue 22, Raffi, and others. Please visit our Earth Charter CD/DVD page to read about our exciting upcoming new Earth Charter/UNESCO projects for Mexico, Cannes and Monaco.

We have now completed production of our latest project, the San Francisco Earth Charter/UNESCO CDs for Children and Young People, released exclusively on iTunes. A special edition of the Young People CD is being distributed throughout the United States commencing March 12 by Bayside Entertainment Distribution. We are also organizaing a concert as part of the United Nations Decade for Education for Sustainable Development and an effort to raise money for the San Francisco Unified School District Performing Arts Department for programs and events relating to Sustainable Development and the Earth Charter principles. 25% of the net profit from the sale of the San Francisco CDs will also be given the Peforming Arts Program.

The philosophy lying behind the project is that music touches the hearts and minds of impressionably aged children, motivating them on both the emotional and intellectual levels. These UNESCO/Earth Charter Secretariat approved songs are selected for their musical quality and the messages that they transmit.  Each song helps in promoting a new vision of the world as the key to a successful UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. UNESCO was given the task by the United Nations of coordinating efforts to implement the U.N. Decade of Education for Sustainable Development, and UNESCO believes that Earth Charter CDs/School Kits and concerts are an important way to deliver the message to children. UNESCO is primarily responsible for coordinating efforts to implement the U.N. Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.

Contributing to the CDs are artists Maná with special SF guest artist, Grateful Dead, Mickey Hart, Doobie Brothers,Huey Lewis (hard copy only), Ozomatli, Dan Hicks, Maria Muldaur, Shana Morrison, Country Joe McDonald, Billy C. Farlow, Kitaro, Tommy Castro, Dan Hicks, Maria Muldaur, the Rowan Brothers, Shana Morrison, Luna Angel, John Stewart, Wavy Gravy, Banana Slug String Band, Linda Arnold, Nancy Schimmel, Candy Forest, Chis Molla, Lisa Atkinson, Blame Sally, William Florian,  and among several other major artists whose licenses are currently being negotiated.
